LIIAR ANALYSIS ARTICLE PAGE

ARTICLE
L-
The Article will use the same colours and theme as the front cover this is so that it will start to build up a memorable house style it is important to keep the house style running throughout the magazine to make it look professional and to make the consistent theme recognisable to the audience and unique to its own magazine. It’s important I don’t use colours that other music magazines use as then it will look as though the magazine is a copy of a more famous brand. This will make the magazine lose popularity and be more unlikely to be sold as it will look ‘cheap’. To keep the consistency of the house style running on the contents page I will make sure that any text used matches the colours and that the icon is features on the page again building up a recognisable and positive representation. Any borders on images will be the one of the 3 colours I chose to relate back to the house style. Also the background colour of the oage will stay the same 3 colours because it is so important that it looks professional and that everything matches and creates a house style as that is what make the audience trust and willing to buy the magazine as it is part of something it’s big and professional so they take more trust to it meaning more purchase.
The masthead will most probably be featured on the article. Page as I want to use it as an icon for people to see and recognise that it’s a well-known company. Using the icon and repeating using it will make it stick more to a publics head and they will be able to recognise it been advertised and be able to trust the icon making audience more likely to make a repeat purchase. The article page will also feature a head line at the top of the page this is to summarise the story in a few words and give it a title to advertise the story everywhere else in the magazine the title on the article page will use the same text as the main title again to create the consistency of a running house style and to gain bigger trust. It will also look really effective and professional and stand out to an audience by using the much brighter colour of the 3 to indicate it’s big and important the most exclusive article.
I want to use a few thumbnail images in my article to show the band in many different occasions and different places as they don’t just want to see the band in one image. The thumbnail images will make the story look more interesting and keep the audience entertained as they won’t just want to read lots of text. I also want to use an image that’s not as small as a thumbnail however not as big as a dominant image I think this will be effective towards an audience as again they get to see the band in another location making them look ‘big’ and a must be seen kind of thing. Using different images will also help the audience interact and make relations with the band which will persuade them into reading more of the story and even go see the band in concert.
I want the dominant image on the article page to be of all the band or maybe just the lead member from waist upwards holding their new album. This would be classed as a mid-shot however I want the band to look directly into the camera and make eye contact. By making eye contact with the audience the band will start to create a relationship making the audience feel as though the band has invited them to talk about their personal lives.

I-
The article page will differentiate from others because the exclusive articles will feature personal band life and will take a sneak peak of things that haven’t even been released to the public world yet. The Article page will make the audience feel more involved unlike any other magazine and I will make sure I read plenty to make sure I do this to satisfy customer needs. The article will also offer a change to win 2 free tickets to the next live concert these techniques added is what draws the audience into buying the magazine classed as competitions and free gifts.
I-
The article page will have a positive atmosphere to the target audience as they will feel satisfied with what they gain from it e.g- a chance to win two free tickets. The article page will offer many different exclusive points that have never been heard before and pictures of the ban in concert which will make them more likely to sign up to the completion and also hype them up to buy the next issue for a chance to win something else .I want the magazine to satisfy customer needs and wants and make them feel happy with their product and what to buy the next issue.
A-
My target audience is both male and female over the age of 15+ when I decide upon the genre of the music the target audience will become easier defined however I think that the genre of the magazine is most likely to be alternative rock music or pop/r&b music as I feel that they are the most popular areas of interest and will be easier to target as there are more popular bands in those criteria’s. However I think that I will probably use alternative rock as that is what I listen to and I feel that I know more about that genre than anything else so therefor I will be able to create that genre better than anything else.
R-
I want my magazine article page to be represented in a positive way I want people to feel satisfied with the magazine and feel as though they got their value for money. I want them to have this feeling towards the magazine as then it will get good publicity and be spread by word of mouth which is the most popular way to get teens to buy a magazine as if they here it’s good from their friends they will trust their opinion and purchase the magazine. I hope that the article page will reflect this. I want the article page to appeal to the target audience and be completely unique from anything else they have ever read in a article page, I want them to feel satisfied with the information provided and feel as though they know more about the band from my magazine than any other already published. I want the magazine to be represented as high quality and I want the audience to make sure they get better value for money than anything else on the shelves.
