Final Photoshoot: Results

These are the results of my final photo-shoot for the magazine; I think that they have turned out to be a good solid final result. Taking them in a studio and using props has made them look more professional, overall I think that my magazine will progress into something a lot better using these images.

Final Magazine

Developing Front Cover

First Drafts Of Magazine

I knew that the magazine wasn’t to the best of my ability. To get some thoughts on improving the magazine I asked some people my age for feedback; I asked people my age specifically because they are the target audience and I wanted their opinion on what they thought to the magazine and what they would do to improve it, this way I got to see what people really want and how to improve my magazine.

On your cover: you need a price, issue date and possibly a web address on the barcode or underneath the masthead. I would also move the masthead toward the left side of the page.I'm not sure that having FAYE in the middle of your model's forehead works brilliantly well.

On your contents page: Get rid of the P'S before the page numbers. Pull your fetaures to the left to line them up with the graphic boxes that the headings are in.

On your double page spread: You have mispelled the artists' name, and there are LOTS of other errors in the subheading and the main body of the article. This is sloppy. Particularly, when saying 'i am' the i must be capitalised. Your pull quote doesn't make sense. The text of the main body of the article is too large (should be around size 10), and the questions should be in read to distinguish them from the answers. Obviously, you need a large image on the left hand side.
